Honda CB500 Street Tracker
(1997) SOLD!
Total rebuild by myself at Bluedge Motorcycles (Nottingham).
For this project, I chose to use a low mileage 97 Honda CB500. After some concept sketches I thought a street urban tracker style in subtle monochrome and copper colours would be the design. After running/checking the standard machine was in good order and servicing engine/bike I began a complete strip down.

-
Frame chopped to accommodate Redmax tracker seat and unit and then powder coated.
-
Tank de-lugged and repainted in copper metallic brown, as seat panel and mudguard etc.
-
Wheels powder coated in gloss black, with new Avon Distanzia tyres.
-
Standard battery box removed and relocated with all electrics tucked under the seat panel.
-
Air box removed and K&N cones fitted. Headers wrapped, SP stainless end can fitted (made in UK) for that performance upgrade and deep twin thumper sound.
-
Renthal superbike bars plus end weights.
-
New lights, indicators, battery, and forks serviced with new seals/oil etc. All new wheel/bearings, head race, swing arm bearings etc.
This low mileage (6700 miles) machine was chosen as a donor bike because of it's renowned quality/reliability and lively motor with excellent handling thrown in (CB500 racers will verify). I have carefully transformed this machine into a Street Tracker style from top to bottom with maximum attention to detail.
This machine rides/sounds/looks like new. Sold with new 12 months MOT. New tyres etc. ready to go. £3500 PX considered. Call us for more details.
